Job Description: Administrative Assistant

LMS is seeking a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform an assortment of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant position include, but are not limited to, providing support to our Birmingham managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs, and managing our company’s general administrative activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Order and maintain office needs and supplies
  • Office Organization
  • Career Fair Assistance of AL events in place of Recruiter when needed
  • Event Planning for the Birmingham office             

-Monthly Birthday celebrations

-Employee Recognition

-Employee Incentive Events

-Charity events and donation drives

  • Social Media Assistance

-Relay photos of Birmingham events and local outings to the Marketing team for posting

  • Managing schedules and appointments of upper management
  • New Employee Onboarding
    • Background check
    • New Hire Onboarding
    • Benefit Knowledge
    • Assisting in Biweekly timesheets submission

Key Knowledge and Experience:

  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Microsoft Office Skills
