Hiring for LTL Operations Assistant
LMS is currently seeking an LTL Operations Assistant to support numerous office functions within the LTL(Less than truckload) department.
Specific duties that may be assigned include data entry, answering phones, track/tracing of LTL shipments, shipment set up & scheduling of carriers, processing claims on lost or damaged freight and resolution of pricing discrepancies.
All work will be done in person or via phone and email. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and custom databases are the computer based programs used for the position.
Basic administrative responsibilities will also include faxing, filing, photocopying, and managing incoming and outgoing mail.
Position involves daily interaction with other office support positions, managers, service representatives/route drivers and customers.
